Polices, Procedures, General Information and Processes:
At Pawsitively Amore Petsitting, we understand that pets are most comfortable in their own homes. That's why we offer in your-home and in our-home services, including doggie day care, boarding/kennel, drop-in service, walks, and overnight and vacation stays. We are licensed, bonded & insured (Pet Sitters Associates), and CPR/First Aid Certified. To get started, simply schedule and complete a meet & greet, either in our home or yours, depending on the requested services. Then, create a new customer account through the Time to Pet and finally, book services.
It is required that you read and understand and/all fees associated with service pricing, travel time fees, and the possibility of processing fees, prior to submitting a booking request with me. All information below in the polices.

I will always respond to calls and emails as soon as possible, during normal business hours (M-F 0800-1800). If is outside of those hours, please note that there may be a delay in response time unless your pet is under current care by Pawsitively Amore Petsitting.
SERVICES:
Pawsitively Amore is your one-stop-shop for all your pet care needs. We offer a variety of services including walks, boarding, overnight and vacation stays, and drop-in services. I will do my best to ensure that your furry friend is well taken care of while you away.
Pawsitively Amore Petsitting offers scheduled WALKS between 7 A.M. and 6 P.M. by default. However, we're flexible and can accommodate other requests as well. For DROP-IN visits, we're available between 6 A.M. and 9 P.M. every day of the year, and we're open to modifying our schedule on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and preferences.
Pajama parties are scheduled overnight from 1800-0630, 7 days a week, 365 days per year (unless Pawsitively Amore Petsitting is on planned and communicated vacation).
Your specific service rate is the service cost plus travel fees. This information will be displayed on their Time to Pet account when they request services. Included on my website is my service area map, not 100% defined, @ https://www.pawsitivelyamorepetsitting.com/service-area-map. This will help you see your distance from Pawsitively Amore Petsitting home location. If you have any questions regarding these charges, please reach out. The closest landmark to Pawsitively Amore Petsitting home office is Casey's on South Expressway and 23rd Ave in Council Bluffs (51501). Travel time charges are as follows:
5-10 miles = $4/visit
11-15 miles=$6/visit
16-20 miles=$8/visit
21+ miles=$10/visit ***for multiple visits per day, quantify the rate/visit x the number of visitis***
Pawsitively Amore Petsitting reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
At Pawsitively Amore Petsitting, we value punctuality and always aim to arrive on time. We understand that sometimes a two-hour time frame might be necessary, and we will communicate this with you in advance. Our goal is to provide you with the best service possible.
TERMS OF SERVICE, CARE:
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions between pet parent/guardian and Pawsitively Amore Petsitting. As an independent provider, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting will perform all scheduled services in a reliable and caring manner. The pet parent/guardian is responsible for providing any necessary information to aid in this performance. Any concerns should be notified to Pawsitively Amore Petsitting within 24 hours after services are completed. Additionally, the pet(s) will never be let off leash during walks, except for medical emergencies, to ensure their safety.
Great pet care starts with the right equipment and supplies. As a responsible pet parent/guardian, it's important to provide your furry friend with everything they need to stay safe healthy. This includes a sturdy, well-fit harness or collar and leash for walks or emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter, and cleaning supplies. By ensuring you have all the necessary supplies, you can give your pet the best possible care.
All services provided by Pawsitively Amore Petsitting are time and GPS tracked through a Time to Pet activity.
Pawsitively Amore Petsitting offers a range of pet services, both in your home and in our home. We provide outdoor activities as well. The exact visit times, duration, and services requested and booked will be detailed at the time of booking and noted on the invoice.
The client is responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from any injury caused by their pet(s) to Pawsitively Amore Petsitting representative, other persons, or other animal(s). Additionally, any damage caused to the property of the pet parent/guardian by their pet(s) is also the responsibility of the client.
PAYMENT:
An invoice is created once a booking request is approved through the Time to Pet portal.
The pet parent/guardian agrees to pay all charges accrued for services provided. In addition, the pet parent/guardian authorizes any purchase of necessity for satisfactory performance of duties. Pet parent/guardian understands that for availability reasons, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure requested spot on the schedule. Payment is due on the due date listed on your invoice. Costs of any/all purchases and related service costs will be reimbursed to Pawsitively Amore Petsitting. Can you can view your current and/or any open invoices in Time to Pet portal app. Current forms of payments accepted are (Venmo, cash, or check). If and when Pawsitively Amore Petsitting includes the option to pay with a credit card, if a card is on file, payment will auto charge once the invoice is past due. If no card is on file or that services isn't active on the site, and the payment is late, this will result may be a late fee and/or services suspended. Please let Pawsitively Amore Petsitting know if there are any concerns or questions about the invoice prior to the listed due date on the invoice.
Forms of payment accepted:
Credit card via Time to Pet, Venmo @pawsitivelyamorepetsitting, cash or check.
Confirmation of any/all payments may be viewed in Time to Pet, once received and applied. If only requested, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting will email a receipt. All of your invoices are available to view in Time to Pet account.
CONFIDENTIALITY/SECURITY/PROPERTY:
This is a standard agreement between Pawsitively Amore Petsitting and the client. By signing this agreement, the client gives permission to Pawsitively Amore Petsitting to enter the listed address to perform the agreed-upon services. The client is responsible for securing the home before leaving the premises, and Pawsively Amore Petsitting will re-secure the home to the best of its ability at the end of each or stay. Pawsitively Amore Petsitting is not liable for any breach of security or loss of or damage the client's property if any other person has access to the property during the scheduled care.
Pawsitively Amore Petsitting takes responsibility for keeping keys and access codes safe and return them at the end of the contract period. In case of any malfunction, the client should authorize the pet sitter to employ a locksmith and reimburse all costs incurred. However, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting is not liable for any loss or damage in the event a crime during the contracted time or for pets with unsupervised access to the outdoors.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
By using Pawsitively Amore Petsitting's services, you authorize the use of any pet pictures taken by us on our website, social media, and/or marketing materials for promotional purposes only.
SNOW/COLD/HEAT INCLEMENT WEATHER:
As a homeowner/pet parent/guardian, it is your responsibility to arrange for snow removal. In case of temperatures or adverse weather conditions, such as snow, ice, or rain, or temps less than 20 degrees or higher than 90 degrees Fahrenheit walks may be shortened or canceled. If requested, we will spend time indoors engaging in love and enrichment activities during the scheduled visit.
EMERGENCY PLAN:
Pawsitively Amore Petsitting understands the importance of your pet's safety and well-being. In the event of an emergency, inclement weather, or natural disaster, we will use our best judgment to ensure your pet's care and the safety of your residence. While we will make every effort to maintain services during these conditions, we reserve the right to adjust our schedule based on our sole discretion.
With discretion, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Client’s pet(s) poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people. If issues arise that prohibit Pawsitively Amore Petsitting from caring for the pet, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting will attempt to contact the Client to arrange alternative care or pick up. If the Client cannot be contacted, the Client authorizes Pawsitively Amore Petsitting to place the pet in a licensed kennel with all charges and fees to be the responsibility of the Client.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
At Pawsitively Amore Petsitting, we understand the importance of planning ahead. Due to high demand, we recommend booking your pet's stay with us as early as possible to ensure availability. By doing so, you'll secure exclusive time for your furry friend and avoid the disappointment of being turned away. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing exceptional care for your pets.
In the event Pawsitively Amore Petsitting needs to cancel due to an emergency/illness/weather, you will be refunded 100% of payment made or your account credited the same amount (your choice). For booking and availability reasons, a 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
It is important to submit a written request through the Time to Pet booking change feature in the scheduling tab to cancel any requests. Cancellations made with 7 days' notice will receive a 100% refund of the deposit or payment made for the services. Cancellations made within 72 hours will receive 50% refund, and those made within 24 hours will receive a 25 refund. Failure to provide proper notice of will result in a 100% nonrefundable charge for all visits. While it is not common for Pawsitively Amore Petsitting to waive cancellation fees, I am willing to discuss on a case-by-case basis. If I arrive at your home for a scheduled appointment and am unable to perform services due to a client's communication error, the full amount will be due.
HOLIDAYS:
For holiday bookings or stays that include a holiday, a 100% deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking. Additionally, there will be a 50% service cost increase for the day before, the day of, and the day after major holidays such as New Year's, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These costs will be added to your invoice total. Cancellation fees apply as described above.
MEDICAL VETERINARY RELEASE:
Vet information must be listed in Time to Pet.
At Pawsitively Amore, we understand that emergencies can happen at any time. That's why we have a policy in place to contact the pet parent/guardian listed in the Time to Pet account in case of an emergency event. We believe that timely communication is crucial in such situations, and we will always confirm the pet parent/guardian's decision before taking any action. If the pet parent/guardian cannot be reached in a timely manner, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting is authorized to:
Transport the pet(s) to the listed veterinarian in Time to Pet and listed on information sheet.
Request on-site treatment from a veterinarian, if needed.
As a last resort, transport the pet(s) to an emergency vet clinic with a standing agreement with Pawsitively Amore Petsitting, if the previous two options are not feasible.
This is a medical release form that authorizes the contacted veterinarian to treat any pets listed on the pet information sheet. The pet parent/guardian will be responsible for all fees and charges incurred during the treatment. In case of an emergency event where the parent/guardian cannot be reached, Pawsitively Amore Petsitting will act on their behalf and authorize any medically necessary treatment by the vet, excluding euthanasia.
MEDICATIONS:
This policy ensures the safety and well-being of your pet(s) while in the care of Pawsitively Amore Petsitting. We require detailed instructions in your Time to Pet account for any necessary medication, including medical conditions, dosage, frequency, and administration instructions. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any adverse consequences resulting from missed medications or incorrect instructions given if your pet(s) refuse to cooperate or become violent during medication administration. Pawsitively Amore Petsitting requires a demonstration of this during the meet and greet.We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping your pet(s) healthy and happy.
Complimentary Services, provided by Pawsitively Amore Petsitting are:
Meet and Greet - in my home or in your home (depending on services requested)
Ensuring the safety of your home, involving a combination of regular checks and setting home alarm
Manually or by a timer, setting lights and other in-home deterrents
Retrieve mail, newspapers and/or packages
Watering indoor and outdoor plants
Trash and recycling, in/out, on regular scheduled days
